
Edmund Ang
Senior Consultant
Edmund is a leadership expert, adult educator and management consultant with extensive experience in talent development, executive coaching, and cybersecurity risk management. As a seasoned leadership trainer and a Dale Carnegie Master Trainer for Singapore, he specialises in enhancing the leadership capabilities of senior management and delivering high-impact training in people skills, effective communication, presentations, and leadership in both English and Mandarin.
His expertise extends internationally as a faculty facilitator for the Royal Institute for Governance and Strategic Studies (RIGSS) in Bhutan, where he has trained Members of Parliament and high-potential government officials in leadership communication. He also provides executive coaching and advisory services to C-suite leaders, ranging from startups to multinational corporations.
With over 20 years of management consulting experience in cybersecurity risk management, Edmund has advised governments and enterprise clients across North Asia, ASEAN, the Middle East, Africa, and Australia. Before returning to Singapore in 2011, he spent seven years in Shanghai and Hong Kong, where he worked as an entrepreneur and consultant for global industry leaders such as Ernst & Young, KPMG and Verizon.
As an emerging researcher, he is interested in exploring Web3 technologies to enhance leadership development and workplace learning, as well as applying Sun Zi’s Art of War principles – grounded in the pedagogic concept of 'learner as a self' – to self-directed and organisational learning.
